Don't be the book was loads better. I read all 4 books in the Trilogy!
I still crack up when they are on the Vogon planet and trying not to think.
actually if I remember correctly that part wasn't even in the book.
I also love the dolphin song "So Long and Thanks For All The Fish"

Re: Favorite Movie?
I thought there was 5 books? I read the complete Hitchhiker's Guide as well, the movie cut out most of the best stuff though, like the fish accidentally proving there was no god. Good stuff.Nitz13 wrote:ricotheawesomecat wrote:I hate to sound like a complete ass, but the book was much better.PsychoCheerio wrote:Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Re: Favorite Movie?
I'm a huge Hannibal fan, all of the movies were good. The Silence of the Lambs was the best by far, Red Dragon and Hannibal were good. Hannibal Rising was just a pointless gore fest, but it was still pretty good. I also loved The Exorcist.
Weird, my favorite movie is about a serial killer/cannibal, but I'm the least creepy out of all of you guys.

I can't believe I forgot about this gem...a movie based on like 4 little video shorts about Milton.
I also have been watching all the Mel Brooks movies again, Robin Hood:Men in Tights is awesome, which in turn reminds me that the Princess Bride is also a great movie...

Re: Favorite Movie?
Am I the only one here who enjoys foreign and independant films?
Anyways:
1. Pan's Labyrinth (haven't seen it? GO RENT IT NOW!)
2. The Pacific and Eddy (trust me, you've never heard of it)
3. All The Days Before Tomorrow (again, I will give you a million cool points if you've heard of number 2 and 3)

Pan's Labyrnth= amazing movie!
Yeah, those two other movies I saw at a film festival and was blown away. The Pacific and Eddy has the best score ever made for a movie.

Re: Favorite Movie?
The Pacific and Eddy looks pretty interesting, maybe a bit depressing, but good. Once I actually get a subscription to Netflix I'm gonna rent it.holyconfessor wrote:ricotheawesomecat wrote:I saw Pan's Labyrinth which is on my top 10, the other two I have never heard of before.holyconfessor wrote:Am I the only one here who enjoys foreign and independant films?
