Post by ricotheawesomecat Mon Oct 06, 2008 8:37 pm

I'm going around making all the generic topics that every forum needs so I have to make this one.
My top three are:
1. The Dark Knight
2. Donnie Darko
3. Iron Man

This is one of those things that generally is too hard for me to decide but there are a few movies that I can just watch over and over again like:

(In no particular order)

Superbad
Accepted
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Anything by Kevin Smith (excluding Jersey Girl)
Old Adam Sandler movies (Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore...)
Harry Potter movies
Ryan Reynolds movies...
and the original Star Wars

I hate to sound like a complete ass, but the book was much better.

Don't be the book was loads better. I read all 4 books in the Trilogy!

I still crack up when they are on the Vogon planet and trying not to think. lol!
actually if I remember correctly that part wasn't even in the book.

I also love the dolphin song "So Long and Thanks For All The Fish"

I thought there was 5 books? I read the complete Hitchhiker's Guide as well, the movie cut out most of the best stuff though, like the fish accidentally proving there was no god. Good stuff.

I'm a huge Hannibal fan, all of the movies were good. The Silence of the Lambs was the best by far, Red Dragon and Hannibal were good. Hannibal Rising was just a pointless gore fest, but it was still pretty good. I also loved The Exorcist.

Weird, my favorite movie is about a serial killer/cannibal, but I'm the least creepy out of all of you guys.

So I was just in the Television section and noticed Psycho's The Office thread.

Reminded me of a great movie Office Space.

I can't believe I forgot about this gem...a movie based on like 4 little video shorts about Milton.

I also have been watching all the Mel Brooks movies again, Robin Hood:Men in Tights is awesome, which in turn reminds me that the Princess Bride is also a great movie...

Am I the only one here who enjoys foreign and independant films?

Anyways:
1. Pan's Labyrinth (haven't seen it? GO RENT IT NOW!)
2. The Pacific and Eddy (trust me, you've never heard of it)
3. All The Days Before Tomorrow (again, I will give you a million cool points if you've heard of number 2 and 3)

Pan's Labyrnth= amazing movie!

Yeah, those two other movies I saw at a film festival and was blown away. The Pacific and Eddy has the best score ever made for a movie.

The Pacific and Eddy looks pretty interesting, maybe a bit depressing, but good. Once I actually get a subscription to Netflix I'm gonna rent it.
